Welcome to the 2025-2026 Dance Season
We are so excited to be starting a Brand New Season this September.
At D.A., we offer our students the chance to dance and perform in a nurturing environment. We strive to offer dance lessons to as many children as possible by offering low registration fees. In fact, D.A. offers one of the lowest dance packages in Ottawa while attracting top notch instructors. We at D.A. Studio believe dance should not cost a fortune.
Dance Fees
Please see our Fees tab for a breakdown of all our class Fees. All recreational fees are due by the first day of class. We accept Cash, cheque or etransfer. Please contact us, if you have any questions.
Our Dress Code
· Dancers may wear a body suit, tank top or T-shirt with tights, shorts or dance pants. Our younger dancers love to wear tutus and we encourage you to allow your child to be creative.
· Proper footwear is also required. Ballet, jazz or gymnastic slippers are appropriate for ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and stage. Running shoes are also acceptable for hip-hop classes. All shoes are available at a variety of stores in Ottawa, including WalMart, Malibar and Brio. Young children should not spend a lot of money on dance shoes. Parents may buy or sell used dance shoes on Saturdays. Please see us for more information.
· Long hair must be tied back off the dancer’s face at all times
Competitive Program
Dancers interested in joining our competitive team must participate in a series of tryouts. If you are interested in trying out for our competitive team please register for the COMP Try Out Option on our registration page.
****Try Out Dates and Times will be posted under the Competition Tab****
The level of commitment and fees increases significantly in our competitive program. Dancers and their parents are required to sign a letter of agreement outlining expectations for the program.
